Automotive Centre

In the Automotive Centre, students engage in a variety of activities that focus on the intricacies of vehicle mechanics and maintenance. They acquire hands-on experience by using specialised equipment such as diagnostic scanners, wrenches, socket sets and lifts. Students learn how to troubleshoot and repair various automotive systems, including engines, brakes and electrical components. They also gain practical knowledge in areas such as tyre changing, wheel alignment and oil changes. Through practical exercises, simulations and real-world projects students develop skills in automotive repair, problem solving and critical thinking. These classes provide students with the foundation they need for a successful career in the automotive industry.

Gymnasium

Our school gymnasium is a dynamic and energetic space where students participate in physical education classes and various sports activities. Students engage in a range of activities including team sports, fitness exercises and individual challenges. Through these experiences, students develop physical fitness, co-ordination and motor skills. They also learn valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline and resilience. The gymnasium provides opportunities for students to learn about sportsmanship, fair play, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Overall, it promotes holistic development and fosters a positive attitude towards physical activity, contributing to the well-being and overall success of students.

Design & Technology

Students get the opportunity in Design & Technology to develop skills in woodwork, metal work and digital technologies. In the workshop students can design, investigate, produce and evaluate a product of their own design. They have the chance to use computer-aided design to develop their design work and see how it can transfer into the workshop. Design & Technology can help students with general life skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork. Design and Technology can help lead students into potential career pathways into trade areas such as carpentry, boiler making and other industry careers.

Home Economics

Home Economics focuses on teaching students’ practical life skills related to kitchen management, nutrition, food preparation and safe practices, as well as development life stages. Students learn about proper nutrition, food safety, meal planning and budgeting and healthy eating habits. They apply these skills and knowledge in real life and theoretical settings. Home Economics aims to equip students with general life skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, communication and teamwork. Home Economics helps students explore potential career pathways such as nutrition, culinary arts and early childhood education.

Library

Our Eudunda School Robertstown Districts Community Library is a vibrant hub of learning and exploration. It is a place where students, teachers and community come together to access a wide range of resources and engage in intellectual pursuits. The Library is filled with books, magazines and digital materials that cater to different interests and subjects. It provides a tranquil and welcoming environment where individuals can study, collaborate and discover new knowledge. Our librarian staff play a crucial role in guiding and supporting users, ensuring that everyone finds what they need. The library serves as a catalyst for academic growth, fostering a love for reading and lifelong learning within the school community.

EASpresso Café

Construction of our cafe

EASpresso is a school based café which operates out of a refurbished shipping container located within the school grounds. Senior school students involved with EASpresso gain their Barista Certificate whilst developing lifelong skills that can be transferred into the job market; not only are they acquiring industry specific skills in the Food and Hospitality sector, but they are also practicing their enterprise and employability skills. It is a sustainable initiative that will continue to provide an avenue for students to gain industry recognised skills leading to further training and employment, whilst creating a social hub for students to meet and enjoy barista style drinks and home cooked foods.

Primary Block

Our primary classrooms are vibrant and nurturing environments designed to foster creativity. These spaces are carefully crafted to encourage curiosity, engagement, and a love for learning. In these classrooms, young learners develop crucial foundational skills such as reading, writing, and math while also exploring science, art, music, and physical education. Teachers play a pivotal role in these classrooms, providing guidance, support, and a safe space for students to ask questions and make discoveries. The Year 12 Study Room is a dedicated space designed to support senior students in their academic pursuits. The Year 12 Study Room is a vital resource for students aiming to excel in their final year of high school.

Positive Education

Positive Education is embedded into the curriculum from Foundation to Year 12. It emphasises the holistic development of students, focusing not only on academic achievement but also on their well-being and character formation. It incorporates principles of positive psychology, promoting positive emotions, resilience and character strengths. Science Laboratory

Agriculture Block

The Eudunda Area School Agriculture Block is a designated area within our school grounds that is dedicated to promoting Agricultural Education and hands-on learning experiences. It serves as a practical and interactive space where students can gain valuable knowledge about various aspects of Agriculture. The farm block typically includes different sections such as a vineyard, horticulture area, crop trials and designated areas for livestock. The School Agriculture Block serves as an immersive learning environment that exposes students to the multifaceted world of Agriculture, blending theoretical knowledge with practical skills and fostering a deep connection to the land and its resources.

Primary STEM & Performing Arts Room

A newly refurbished classroom in the Primary, the STEM Room offers a multi-purpose area for a range of lessons and activities. STEM is an approach to learning and development that integrates the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Through STEM, students develop key skills including problem solving, creativity, critical analysis, teamwork, independent thinking, initiative, communication and digital literacy.

Art Room

Our Art Room is a vibrant and creative space where students can unleash their artistic potential. The walls are adorned with colourful artwork and shelves filled with various art supplies. The room is designed to be spacious, allowing students to move freely and experiment with different art mediums. Natural light floods through large windows, creating an inviting atmosphere that stimulates creativity. The room is equipped with 14 Apple iMac computers easels, drawing tables and a pottery wheel to accommodate a wide range of artistic endeavours. The art room fosters collaboration and interaction among students. It serves as a sanctuary for artistic expression and self-discovery. As students work on their projects, the room hums with a mix of focused concentration and lively conversations about techniques and inspirations. It is a space that encourages experimentation, risk taking and personal growth, ultimately nurturing a lifelong appreciation for The Arts.
